How to bid at Auction

Auction goes on every day . There are many live auction companies around you and within your local area. Government institutions, local and international agencies carry out auction sales from time to time . You can participate in any of the auction sales:

1. To bid at auction, you will need to register;
2. To register, you will need the following ;
A means of identification such as National identity Number ( NIN ) , driving license, international passport etc
Your home or office utility bill
3. Attend the auction sales event and bid in person by raising up your bid card , paddle or other acceptable means of communicating your bid as announced;
4. If you cannot attend, you can still bid by submitting your bid in written form to the auctioneer . This is known as absentee bid . You may need to speak with the auctioneer if he has provisions for absentee bid and any standard form;
5. You can also bid on various online Auction platforms where real time online bidding are conducted.
